The Brief
Redesign the website for Sacred Heart Catholic School. Make sure current and prospective families can find the information they need.
The Project
I approached this project with two goals: highlight the photos of the students and keep the layout and navigation simple. The school provided us with a large amount of student photos and provided some input on which photos they wanted us to use. Because the school colors are dark and bold, I chose to use them as accents while focusing on white and gray to keep the pages light. This helped to simplify the navigation and help visitors find the correct information, I condensed pages into four drop downs. In the top navigation bar, we added main links current families might frequently use.
Photos of the students are the focus on the home page.
On interior pages, I chose one student photo for the top section.
