The Brief
Redesign the Owyhee County Website. Update the color scheme to be more green than gold, incorprate news feed, events calendar, forms, and provide quick access links on the home page. Ensure ADA compliance.
The Project
After getting priority list from the client, I worked on building out a page structure. To keep the navigation from becoming overwhelming, the departments are listed in the main navigation and have their own interior navigation for sub-pages. Events Calendar, Gravity Forms, and Divi Assistant plugins were used. A blog feed with different department categories allows for individual feeds as well as a main feed.
The home page features quick links, a list of upcoming events, and recent news feed.
Each department page has it’s own internal sub-navigation (yellow bar) if needed.
